The Huddle is a private application used by one family. This page describes what it stores and why. It is short because the application is small.
Who can use it
Only invited family members. There is no public signup. Accounts are managed by the household's commissioner.
What we collect
- Account basics — a display name, an email address for sign-in, and a timezone preference.
- Pick'em activity — the game picks each member makes, when they were made, and their results.
- Yahoo Fantasy data (read-only) — for members who are in our private Yahoo league: league settings, team names, weekly matchups, rosters, points, and standings, obtained through the Yahoo Fantasy Sports API after a league member authorizes access.
How Yahoo data is used
- It is read, never written. The application cannot change lineups, make transactions, or post messages on Yahoo.
- It is shown only to family members inside the application, and each member sees their own team plus league standings.
- It is refreshed a few times per week during the NFL season.
- Yahoo access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to perform these reads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.
- We do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
- We do not use Yahoo data for any purpose other than displaying it to the family members it belongs to.
Where data lives
In a private database we operate. Public NFL schedule and score data comes from public sources and is not personal data.
Deleting your data
Any family member can ask to have their account and picks removed, or to revoke Yahoo access, by emailing hello@wisdomreincarnate.com. Yahoo access can also be revoked at any time from your Yahoo account settings.
